A project won’t meet it’s full potential unless everyone works together

Our DA/IPD Team will include a Project Manager to lead the DA/IPD process for Ferry Electric Company.  Additionally, at all times through the life of any DA/IPD project (precon and construction) our Project Managers work with the Field Foreman and our BIM team. They are all supported by a PM Assistant, an Estimator, a Prefab Foreman, and the General Superintendent. This structure is designed to allow the PM to focus his efforts on the project, the customer, and the process, while the support is there to execute and provide resources as needed.

We work with our customers for budgeting an honest and fair representation of the total project. We work with the design team and offer our input on the design, installation methods, and materials selections. We offer perspective on successful alternatives we have used and offer insight to regional construction materials and methods. We utilize our staff and vendor relations to offer equipment and material selections, pricing options, submittal services, permitting and the like. We provide real-time pricing as well as availability feedback for all value engineering ideas and options.

We use the DA/IPD time to plan our own off-site fabrication often involving the BIM and  manufacturing vendors. We use this time for our foreman to learn the job on paper and plan his work. This helps us to control costs, plan the project better, and flatten our manpower curves, all of which drive savings for the owner.
